Married to Margaret for sixty-one years; father of four, grandfather of eleven, and great-grandfather of three. The dinner table remains the most important meeting on the calendar.
A workshop full of hand planes and a standing rule that every grandchild leaves with something made on the lathe.
Guest lecturer at LSU for over thirty years and an informal mentor to engineers who long ago became chief engineers themselves.
